FiberPlanIT - Software and Telecom Engineers
Comsof has recently started the development of a new software platform called FiberPlanIT. This software is used for the design and optimization of NGN (Next Generation Networks) access networks, also known as FTTx (Fiber-To-The-x). FiberPlanIT uses GIS information (also used in eg. Google Maps) to get an accurate view of the physical reality of the access network, and allows to perform multiple simulations regarding the topology, technology, ...
In this context we are looking for motivated new employees who are willing to cooperate in the further development of our innovative software platform and optimization algorithms, and/or to perform consultancy services for our customers. We offer interesting job content in a young and dynamic work environment with growth possibilities and a generous salary package. You will gain considerable knowledge regarding FTTx networks, and will assist our clients in the usage of the software or generate and present the results of a study yourself for our customer. This will require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, since each case has its unique aspects.

We expect some background in programming in an OO language (preferably Java) and a large interest for current network technologies and practices, as well as standard optimization techniques. You should be able to work in a flexible, creative and independent way; knowledge of English is a must.
INCA - Junior Network and Costing Engineer
For Comsof's activities in the area of cost modelling, we're looking for a Junior Engineer. The projects in this category are usually consultancy projects, in which the Comsof experts cooperate with the specialists of the clients. These projects encompass the entire project lifetime: design and data gathering, software implementation, analysis and justification of the results.
We expect the applicant to be versatile and interested in the broad scope of all network technologies and practices used within our client firms. The job content consists of analysis work, medium development work (usually VB in MS Excel or Access) and result interpretation.
