Requirements

Bonfire Fiber faced significant challenges when it came to connecting rural America with high-speed broadband services. They encountered environmental and cultural factors, including physical barriers and permitting restrictions, which made their plans pivot quickly. Recognizing the limitations of manual fiber planning and design processes, Bonfire Fiber sought solutions to scale their operations efficiently. They needed a tool to automate tasks, enhance data utilization, and improve collaboration.

Results

Implementing IQGeo’s solution transformed Bonfire Fiber's operations. They identified anchor locations faster, streamlined the transition from design to fieldwork, and accelerated broadband deployment. IQGeo’s Comsof Fiber software modernized their workflow, enabling efficient project visualizations and detailed cost insights, strengthening their business case and minimizing risks. This solution revolutionized their rural connectivity approach, providing high-speed broadband to underserved communities with flexibility and efficiency.

In August 2022, IQGeo announced the acquisition of Comsof. Read the article in full on our news page
